Jordan Rail offers a rail-oriented civil plant and equipment hire service. All the civil plant and equipment are up to rail plant specification and consist of the most recent, industry-leading products and meet all industry standards.

Tracked Excavators
We offer a variety of tracked excavators from 5 to 35 tonnes. Excavators are available in standard, reduced counterweights or zero swing models, we have the right excavator for the job. Our excavators will allow access and ease of working in the tightest of sites, zero swing offers safety advantages in constricted work areas. All excavators are designed for working in jobsites with limited space and low headroom.

Wheel Excavators
Jordan Rail offers a variety of wheel excavators from 6.5 to 32 tonnes. All wheeled excavators are road registered and can travel on the roads, making the wheel excavators very versatile.

Piling Rigs
Mait EC35
The Mait Ec35 piling rig has been specially designed and built to perform in job sites with limited access and space restrictions. The drill rig is mounted on an 8-ton zero swing excavator base, giving it excellent manoeuvrability and allowing it to fit into the tightest job-sites. This compact drill rig contributes to a safer work site by utilising a smaller plant with fewer blind spots. The rig sets up over the correct pile location and does not require spotters to keep the excavation straight. Level indicators on the mast let the operator keep the pile perfectly plum without the need for spotters’ directions or repeatedly measuring the position of the Kelly bar or auger. This keeps staff clear of the working area of the machine and open excavations. Ground crew can stay in a position of safety while the operator drills the hole to depth with the in-built depth gauge.
The piling rig has a drilling depth of 16m, low head height and does not require a certified piling pad. It also comes with a wide range of cutting tools such as augers, core barrels and cleaning buckets from 450mm diameter to 1050mm.

Bayshore TR60
For the more challenging or deeper piles, Jordan Rail’s new crawler drill rig has an impressive 90 KN-m of rotary torque, a maximum hole depth of 24m and is equipped with a fully integrated extendable kelly bar system. The drill rig is mounted on a 29t Komatsu excavator for extra power, stability, and
efficiency.
This rig is ideal for drilling hard rock and has good reach for reaching up embankments and down into cuttings from off-track in the corridor, enabling work to be undertaken without track possessions where local regulations permit.

Wheeled Loaders
Jordan Rail has a variety of wheeled front-end loaders which are set up for rail applications with adjustable double redundant height restrictors for working near live overhead lines.

Skidsteers/Posi Tracks
Jordan Rail can supply large tracked skidsteers that have a unique single boom and side entry design for operator safety and easy access. It's also the largest compact track loader model on the market. The skidsteer was designed for comfort, safety, economy, productivity and durability, resulting in a hugely efficient skidsteer but most importantly, a reliable and cost-saving plant for our clients.

Articulated Dumpers
Jordan Rail have a number of different types of articulated dumpers, such as:
- Hydrema 912DS
- Wacker Neuson DV90
- Ausa D1000APG
Hydrema 912DS articulated dumpers with the latest safety and operating systems. The Hydrema 912DS articulated dumpers has a host of features designed to improve output and efficiency such as high ground clearance, low ground pressure tyres and advanced suspension system for traction.
We also have Wacker Neuson DV90 Dual View dumpers, these sets new standards in terms of operator and construction site safety, flexibility and economic efficiency. The dual view concept allows a comfortable and quick change of the seat position through a 180° turn of the entire operating and seat console. In this way, the operator always has perfect vision in the direction of travel.
All these dumpers are robust, reliable and are particularly versatile in the rail industry.

Live Bottom / Flocon Trucks
Live bottom / flocon trucks and moxies are very versatile and ideal for ballast or material transport or discharge on or off track. These body units are ideal for rail works, they can operate under overhead obstacles like power lines, and bridges are great for bulk discharge or placement of material.
The flocon can have the following attachments
- Centre chute for track centre discharge
- 180-degree chute attachment for shoulder discharge
- Extendable conveyor belt for shoulder discharge
Can also carry up to 22 tonnes per load when operating on roads.
